2009 Charitable Recipient – HealthFinders Collaborative

HealthFinders is a Rice County program that’s mission is to provide quality, accessible and culturally sensitive healthcare services, at no cost, to low-income and uninsured residents of the county. HealthFinders serves anyone who is uninsured, meets specified income guidelines and lives within a defined geographic region. The collaborative first starting serving patients in 2005, and is now open for clinic appointments two days per week. The free clinic is staffed by medical providers (physicians and nurses), social workers and community members who serve as receptionists and interpreters. The 2009 Northfield Jingle Bell Run/Walk committee is pleased to announce HealthFinders Collaborative as this year’s recipient of all race proceeds.
